Module 1

Strength and honour

“Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.”

Proverbs 31:25

Read: Proverbs 31:10–31

The woman of Proverbs 31 is not soft. She works, she buys land, she plants a vineyard, she girds her loins with strength, she opens her mouth with wisdom. She is a warrior in her own field, and her household is stronger because she is in it.

Notice what she wears: strength and honour. Not fear. Not comparison. She laughs at the future because she knows who holds it. That is the standard: saved, and not soft.

Wrestle with it

  • What are you wearing most days: strength and honour, or fear and comparison?
  • Where is your vineyard? What has God given you to build?

The charge

Read Proverbs 31:10–31 out loud and pray one line of it over your own life.

Module 2

Fear the Lord, nothing else

“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.”

Proverbs 31:30

Read: Proverbs 31:30 · 1 Peter 3:1–6 · Luke 1:26–38

The world will tell you that your value is your face, your body, your following, your usefulness. Scripture says those things fade. The woman who fears the Lord is praised, and she is not afraid with any amazement. She is unshaken because her fear is aimed at the only One worth fearing.

Mary was a teenager when an angel told her that her life was about to be turned upside down. Her answer: “Be it unto me according to thy word.” That is courage. That is a woman who fears God more than she fears what people will say.

Wrestle with it

  • What are you afraid of right now that God has not told you to fear?
  • Whose approval do you crave more than His?

The charge

Write down the fear that has been running you. Then write the verse that answers it and carry both today.

Module 3

Guard your heart

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

Proverbs 4:23

Read: Proverbs 4:20–27 · Philippians 4:6–9

Your heart is not a passive thing that gets filled by whatever comes along. Scripture says keep it. Guard it. What you watch, listen to, scroll, and dwell on shapes what comes out of you. Out of it are the issues of life.

Paul gives the filter: whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report. Think on these things. That is not soft. That is a woman choosing her weapons carefully.

Wrestle with it

  • What is feeding your heart most days? Does it pass the Philippians 4:8 test?
  • What needs to be cut off this week?

The charge

Remove one input from your day that fails Philippians 4:8. Replace it with the Word.

Module 4

Sisters

“The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness… that they may teach the young women.”

Titus 2:3–4

Read: Titus 2:3–5 · Ruth 1:15–18 · Hebrews 10:24–25

God designed women to sharpen women. Titus 2 is a chain: older women teaching younger women how to love their husbands and children, how to be sober and pure, how to keep a home. If the chain breaks, a generation drifts.

Ruth clung to Naomi when it cost her everything. “Thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God.” Find your Naomi. Be someone’s Naomi. Do not walk this road alone.

Wrestle with it

  • Who is speaking truth into your life? Who are you speaking it into?
  • Which sister has gone quiet lately?

The charge

Reach out to one older woman for wisdom, or one younger woman to encourage. Today.

Module 5

Sent

“And ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Acts 1:8

Read: Acts 1:8 · John 4:28–30 · John 20:11–18

The first person to preach the risen Christ was a woman. Mary Magdalene went from the tomb and told the disciples: I have seen the Lord. The Samaritan woman left her waterpot and brought a whole town to Jesus.

You are sent. To your home, to your workplace, to your neighborhood, to the women God has placed around you. The gospel is not a private comfort. It is good news for the whole town.

Wrestle with it

  • Who has never heard you say what Jesus has done for you?
  • What waterpot are you holding onto that keeps you from going?

The charge

Tell one woman this week, plainly, what Jesus has done in your life.
