Pray the Text

The oldest way to study the Bible is to pray it. Take a passage, a Psalm is a good place to start, and turn each line into praise, confession, request, and surrender. You are not studying about God. You are talking to Him with His own words. This is what David did. It is what Jesus did on the cross.
